Charles-Hubert, agronome
Charles-Hubert Grondin is an agronomist with a strong academic background and over 10 years of professional experience in sustainable agriculture and environmental innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Agronomy and Crop Science and a Certificate in Applied Horticulture from Université Laval. He also pursued studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and completed a Minor in Landscape Architecture at Université de Montréal. Additionally, he has advanced expertise in environmental engineering, having completed most of a Master’s in Environmental Engineering at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS).
Professionally, he has contributed to key roles in agro-environmental projects at organizations like VERTTECK, Agropod, and Groupe Conseil UDA. His expertise spans vertical farming, sustainable agriculture, air quality, and R&D for innovative farming solutions. Charles-Hubert combines his academic achievements with hands-on experience in project coordination, environmental assessments, and quality assurance. Passionate about advancing eco-friendly agriculture, he is committed to creating sustainable and efficient agricultural systems for the future.
Jean-Philippe Payer, B.Sc.
At AgroQuébec, I serve as a consultant specializing in vertical and hydroponic farming. My role focuses on revolutionizing modern agriculture through innovative approaches to food production.

My expertise includes developing tailored business models that help clients define clear production objectives and optimize crop yields, ensuring both profitability and sustainability.
